Luis Martinez Killed in San Antonio Crash at Roosevelt Avenue and Loop 410
San Antonio, TX. – Luis Martinez, 63, was killed in a suspected DUI crash on Friday night in San Antonio.
The fatal crash occurred in the 5200 block of Roosevelt Avenue near Loop 410 at around 8:30 p.m. according to the San Antonio Police Department.
Martinez was driving a car northbound in the southbound lanes of Roosevelt when the driver of a southbound car swerved to avoid a collision. Both drivers switched to the same lane and collided.
Martinez, who showed signs of intoxication, was rushed to the hospital where he died several hours later.
More details on the accident were not available.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
