Austin, TX – A person was killed Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in northwest Austin, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened just after 4:00 a.m. on March 27 in the 13000 North U.S. 183.
According to the report, a person was crossing the highway when they were struck by a vehicle.
The victim was killed in the accident. Their identity has not been released.
The driver stayed at the scene and was being tested for intoxication.
The accident closed all lanes of southbound US 183 at Anderson Mill Road.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
