1 Killed in Fannin County Pickup Truck Collision on State Highway 121 Near Randolph

Fannin County, TX – One person was killed in a collision involving a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer Monday evening in Fannin County, according to local authorities.

The fatal crash occurred on State Highway 121 near North Business 121, just north of Randolph, on June 6, 2026.

Authorities said the collision involved a tractor-trailer rig and a pickup truck. The Fannin County Emergency Management Office confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

The collision prompted the closure of a stretch of Highway 121 between Bonham and Randolph while emergency crews responded and investigators processed the scene. The roadway has since reopened.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
