One Killed in Gaines County Crash on FM 2055 and FM 2056

Gaines County, TX. – A 19-year-old man was killed in a car crash on Tuesday night in Denver City, Gaines County.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened near FM 2055 and FM 2056.

A westbound 2024 GMC Sierra reportedly failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and struck a 2012 Ford F-150 traveling north on FM 2055.

The impact caused the Ford F-150 to roll over.

A 19-year-old male passenger in the Sierra was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Sierra and two passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Ford was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
