Purvine Brett Killed in Odessa Motorcycle Accident on 42nd Street and FM 1936
Odessa, TX. - A man was killed after a motorcycle accident on Saturday night in Odessa.
The fatal crash occurred on 42nd Street and FM 1936 at around 8:10 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Purvine Jerry Brett, 57, was riding a Harley-Davidson Breakout westbound on 42nd Street when he failed to control his speed and slammed into the rear of an F-150 pickup truck.
Paramedics pronounced Brent dead at the scene.
More details on the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
