Rayan Patrick Injured in Lubbock Car Crash at 34th Street and I-27
Lubbock, TX. - Three people were injured in a car crash on Thursday night in Lubbock.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, the accident occurred at 34th Street and Interstate 27 at around 10:40 p.m.
Kelis Hardeman, 21, was driving an SUV southbound on I-27 when he crashed into a car driven by Cade Wells, 24.
A third vehicle then crashed into Wells' and Hardeman's vehicles before striking 56-year-old Rayan Patrick, who had stopped to help.
Patrick sustained serious injuries and was transported to Covenant Medical Center.
Hardeman and Wells suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to UMC for treatment.
More details on the collision were not provided.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
