Ryan Simpson Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at US 287 and FM 1912 in Amarillo
Amarillo, TX. - A 21-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon in Amarillo.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, the crash occurred at the intersection of US 287 and FM 1912 at around 3:13 p.m.
Ryan Simpson was driving a red 2024 Ford F-150 westbound on U.S. 287 North when he struck the trailer of a tractor-trailer driven by Juan Carlos Sanchez, 47, which was turning east onto 287.
Paramedics pronounced Simpson dead at the scene.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
