Six-Year-Old Girl Dies in Arlington Two-Vehicle Collision on I-20

Arlington, TX – A 6-year-old girl was killed on Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision in Arlington, according to the police.

The fatal collision happened on March 25 on Interstate 20 near the US Highway 287 interchange.

Police said a car and a dump truck were traveling westbound on the interstate. The car driver became distracted, causing them to take their eyes off the road, and they rear-ended the dump truck.

The car driver and two children in the backseat were taken to local hospitals, where one of the children, a 6-year-old girl, later died. Her name has not been released.

The victim might have not been restrained at the time of the collision.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the accident.
