3 Injured in Cooke County Head-On Collision at FM 678 and CR 152

Cooke County, TX – Three people were injured Friday morning in a head-on collision in Whitesboro, according to the Texas DPS.

The collision occurred just before 11:00 a.m. on June 12 at the intersection of FM 678 and County Road 152.

DPS said vehicles collided head-on at the intersection. The exact number of vehicles involved in the collision was not disclosed.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.

One person was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment. Two other people were also hospitalized.

The Texas DPS is investigating the collision.
