William Ewer Killed in Manor Car Crash at U.S. 290 and Old Kimbro Road

Manor, TX. - William Ewer, of Eglin, has been identified as the man who died in a collision involving two vehicles on Friday morning in Manor.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 290 and Old Kimbro Road at around 4:37 a.m.

Officers found one vehicle in the middle of the roadway while the second was stopped off the roadway in a fence line.

The driver of the second vehicle was trapped and had to be extricated before being airlifted to hospital for treatment.

Paramedics pronounced the passenger of the second vehicle dead at the scene. The passenger was identified as William Ewer, of Eglin.

The driver of the first vehicle, Carlos David Martinez Sanchez, remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. He was taken into custody on a charge of driving without a license.

The Manor Police Department is investigating the crash.
