Yesenia Perfitt Killed in Austin Car Accident on FM 973 at Pearce Lane

Austin, TX. – The teen who died in a two-vehicle collision in SE Austin on Saturday has been identified as Yesenia Elain Perfitt, 19, according to the police.

The fatal collision happened at about 4:20 p.m. on October 3, at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 973 Road and Pearce Lane near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Police said the collision involved a sedan and a pickup truck.

Perfitt, who was a passenger in the sedan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating the accident.
