1 Injured in Rosenburg School Bus Crash on McCrary Road

Rosenburg, Texas (October 15, 2019) – A Lamar Consolidated Independent School District bus driver was injured in a hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon in Rosenburg, according to police.

The crash happened on Monday, October 14, on McCrary Road.

Police said a pickup truck crossed the centerline and crashed head-on into a Lamar Consolidated Independent School District.

The pickup driver fled the scene on foot.

The bus driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

One student on board the bus was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
