Rebecca Medina ID’d as Woman Killed in Polk County Crash on U.S. 190 near Livingston
Polk County, Texas (May 27, 2019) – Authorities have identified Rebecca Medina, 19 as the woman who was killed Saturday night in a traffic accident in Polk.
The deadly crash happened at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, May 25 on U.S. 190 near Livingston.
The Texas Department of Public Safety said Medina was driving westbound on U.S. 190 when for an unknown reason, her a Ford car collided head-on with a Jeep SUV that was heading eastbound.
Medina was transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed her injuries.
The Jeep driver, Joseph Johnson, 55, and his passenger, Tammy Johnson, 55, were both taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
