Miguel Guerrero-Garcia Killed in Austin Pedestrian Crash on E. Ben White Boulevard

Austin, Texas (July 9, 2021) – According to the police, one person was killed last week Tuesday in a pedestrian crash in Austin.

The fatal crash happened around 11:08 a.m., June 29, in the 8300 block of E. Ben White Boulevard.

Police said a 2014 white Jeep Wrangler and a box truck were merging into the center lane of traffic when the driver’s side of the Jeep struck the passenger’s side of the box truck.

The force of the impact caused the Jeep to travel into the outside lane, where it struck Miguel Guerrero-Garcia, who was removing bags of mulch from the roadway that had fallen off his trailer.

Guerrero-Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene.
