2 Killed in Head-On Crash on FM 1097 in Montgomery County

Two Killed, One Critically Injured in Montgomery County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1097 

Montgomery County, Texas (May 16, 2020) – Two people were killed, and another was critically injured Friday evening in a head-on collision in Montgomery County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 5:00 p.m. May 15, on FM 1097 near Pearson.

Deputies said a man in his 30s was driving a 2008 Nissan Titan westbound on the highway when he crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer, occupied by two women in their 20s.

The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

One of the women was trapped in the Mountaineer and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been disclosed.

The other woman was taken to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
