Two Critically Injured in Zabcikville Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 53

Zabcikville, Texas (September 27, 2019) – Two people were critically injured in a head-on collision Thursday afternoon near Zabcikville, according to a local news source.

The collision occurred just after 4:00 p.m. September 26, on Highway 53.

DPS said an SUV was heading westbound on the highway when it tried to pass another vehicle and collided with an eastbound truck.

Two people in the SUV were taken to Baylor Scott and White in Temple in critical condition.

An investigation is underway.
