Man Killed in Rollover Crash at S. Danville and Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene

45-Year-Old Man Killed in Abilene Car Crash at S. Danville and Buffalo Gap Road

Abilene, Texas (August 29, 2020) – According to a local news source, a 45-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash Thursday night at an Abilene intersection.

The deadly crash occurred on August 27, at the intersection of S. Danville and Buffalo Gap Road, in front of the Comfort Inn Suites.

Police said the man was driving a 90s model pickup when he failed to negotiate the on-ramp onto Winters Freeway and crashed into another vehicle.

The pickup rolled over into a ditch after the crash, and the man was partially ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other vehicle left the scene.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
