One Critically Injured in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Austin Highway near Ira Lee

San Antonio, Texas (October 18, 2019) – A bicyclist was critically injured in an alleged hit-and-run accident Thursday night in San Antonio, according to a local news release.

The accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on October 17, on Austin Highway near Ira Lee.

According to the police, a passerby spotted the bicyclist lying in the middle of the northbound lanes. A witness said the bicyclist had been by a truck.

The truck left the accident after the accident.

The victim was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. He didn’t have a helmet and the bicycle didn’t have any lights.
