Man Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run on Southcross Boulevard in San Antonio

41-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Southcross Boulevard

San Antonio, Texas (July 16, 2023) – A 41-year-old man was critically injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.

The accident happened around 1:37 a.m., in the 700 block of W Southcross Boulevard.

Police said the man was walking along the roadway, not on the sidewalk, when an unknown vehicle struck him from behind.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious bodily injuries and was listed in critical condition.

The driver fled the scene after the accident. If found, the driver will be charged with failure to stop and render aid – serious bodily injury.

The police are investigating the crash.
