One Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1570 and SH 66 in Greenville
1 Killed and 2 Injured in Greenville Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1570 and State Highway 66
Greenville, Texas (May 6, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night in Greenville, according to the DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 7:15 p.m. May 5, at the intersection of FM 1570 and State Highway 66.
DPS said a blue Saturn was traveling southeast on FM 1570 while a grey Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling southwest on Highway 66.
The driver of the Saturn ran a stop sign at the intersection and collided with the Dodge.
The Saturn driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
A passenger in the Dodge was taken to Hunt Regional in stable condition. The rear passenger was airlifted to the Medical City of Plano with life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
