3 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Southwest Military Drive in San Antonio

Three Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Military Drive near Quintana Road

San Antonio, Texas (August 3, 2022) – Three people were injured Tuesday evening in a wrong-way crash on San Antonio’s Southwest Side, according to the police.

The crash happened just after 5:00 p.m., August 2, in the 4000 block of Southwest Military Drive, near Quintana Road.

Police said an Audi SUV was traveling the wrong way when it crashed into a Mercedes and then struck an older-model pickup truck.

The Mercedes driver, a 24-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital for treatment. A passenger in the Audi was unresponsive and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The Audi driver, a 20-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in serious condition. He was found to be impaired and charged with intoxication assault.

The police are investigating the crash.
