2 Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 105 in Orange

Two Injured in Orange Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 105

Orange, Texas (September 4, 2023) – Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a head-on collision in Orange, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 3:00 p.m., September 3, on Highway 105.

DPS said a Volkswagen Pasaat was traveling westbound while a GMC pickup was traveling eastbound. The driver of the Volkswagen traveled on the wrong side of the road while entering a curve and crashed head-on into the GMC.

The Volkswagen driver was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital and then to Memorial Hermann in Houston with life-threatening injuries.

The GMC driver was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
