Misty Holley Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas (November 23, 2021) – A woman was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on November 20, on the Southwest Freeway, near Newcastle.

Police said a Mitsubishi Lancer, which was being used as an Uber, was traveling on the freeway when it began having mechanical problems in a moving lane of traffic. It stopped on the freeway and was struck by a truck.

Misty Holley, 39, who was a passenger in the Uber, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Uber driver, a 50-year-old, was taken to the hospital with broken ribs.

The truck driver, a 30-year-old, was uninjured in the crash.

Further details regarding the crash were not available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
