Linda Pearson Killed in Dallas Pedestrian Accident on Ferguson Road at Highwood Drive; Brayan Montoya and Andrew Martinez Arrested

Dallas, Texas (December 7, 2021) – An elderly woman was killed Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident in east Dallas, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 2:15 p.m., November 26, in the 10100 block of Ferguson Road at Highwood Drive.

Police said a Chevrolet Impala and a Chevrolet Camaro were racing southbound when the Impala struck Linda Pearson, 73.

Both drivers fled the scene after the accident.

Pearson was pronounced dead at the scene.

The drivers, Brayan Ontiveros Montoya, 19, and Andrew Martinez, 18, have been arrested and have been charged with racing causing serious bodily injury and accident involving death.

An investigation is underway.
