Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on E. Hurst Boulevard in Hurst

62-Year-Old Man Killed in Hurst Bicycle Accident on E. Hurst Boulevard (Highway 10)

Hurst, Texas (April 9, 2020) – A 62-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run bicycle accident in Hurst, according to police.

The deadly accident took place on Tuesday, April 7, in the 2100 block of E. Hurst Boulevard (Highway 10).

Police said the man was riding a bicycle when he was struck by a vehicle.

The bicyclist was rushed to Texas Health HEB, where he later died. His name has not been released.

Hurst police are looking for the involved driver, who fled the scene without rendering aid.

The involved vehicle was described as a black or dark-colored older model SUV (GMC Yukon or Tahoe) with damage to the front right fender, right front bumper, and the hood area.
