Driver Injured in San Antonio School Bus Crash on Huebner Road near Blanco Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 18, 2019) – One person was injured Monday morning in a traffic collision involving a school bus from the North East Independent School District in San Antonio, according to officials.

The crash occurred at about 7:00 a.m. on Huebner Road near Blanco Road in front of the Oaks at Sonterra neighborhood.

Officials said a car rear-ended the school bus on Huebner Road.

None of the 29 students from Stone Oak Elementary School was injured in the crash.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the car driver. The driver was then taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.

An investigation is underway.
