Teenager Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Loop 335 in Amarillo

17-Year-Old Injured in Amarillo Motorcycle Crash on Loop 335 near Washington Street

Amarillo, Texas (April 1, 2023) – A 17-year-old male was injured on Friday in a motorcycle crash in Amarillo, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m., March 31, on Loop 335, just west of S. Washington Street.

DPS said traffic had slowed down for crews resurfacing the road when the teenager on a motorcycle ran into a pickup truck. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing his helmet at the time of the crash.

No additional information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
