Noah Robinson Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Old Acton Highway and FM 4 in Granbury

16-Year-Old Noah Robinson Airlifted after Granbury Crash at Old Acton Highway and FM 4 South

Granbury, Texas (July 8, 2022) – A Granbury teenager was airlifted to a hospital in Fort Worth after a crash involving five vehicles on Wednesday morning in Granbury, according to authorities.

The five-car wreck happened just before 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 6 in the area of Old Acton Highway and FM 4 South.

Authorities said Noah Robinson, 16, was driving a 1999 Ford F150 pickup while Jordan Teaver, 39, of Granbury, was driving a 2016 Ford Focus. One of the vehicles was trying to make a left turn onto FM 4 South from Old Acton Highway when its driver failed to yield right-of-way and collided with the second vehicle.

After the impact, both vehicles spun out of control and struck the three others vehicles, a 2017 Ford Econoline van, driven by 71-year-old Herman Erwin of Granbury, with 66-year-old Deborah Erwin, as a passenger, a 2016 Ford F150, driven by Stephen Mauritz, of Granbury and a 2017 Hyundai Tucson, driven by 26-year-old Paige Allison of Granbury, with a 4-year-old child as a passenger.

Robinson sustained multiple broken bones and was airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in downtown Fort Worth. Teaver was transported to Lake Granbury Medical Center in unknown condition.

No other injuries were reported.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
