3 Killed and 3 Injured in Denton Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35W

Denton, Texas (November 9, 2019) – Three people were killed, and three others were injured Friday afternoon in a fiery traffic collision in Denton, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on Friday, November 8, on Interstate 35W.

Police said the crash involved four passenger vehicles and two 18-wheelers.

The impact caused the trucks to explode.

One of the cars, a sedan, was decimated by the fire with the rubber from the tires completely burned away.

Three people were killed in the crash. Three other victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash.

The crash closed both directions of Interstate 35W for several hours.
