2 Killed in Hit-and-Run on Turf Road in East El Paso; Adrian Gonzalez Arrested

Two Killed in East El Paso Hit-and-Run Crash on Turf Road; Adrian Gonzalez Arrested

El Paso, Texas – Two people were killed Friday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Far East El Paso, according to the deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 10:00 a.m., February 23, in the 4600 block of Turf Road.

Deputies said Adrian James Gonzalez, 30, was driving when he veered off the road and hit a 34-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, who were on the shoulder of the roadway.

 Both victims were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

The crash closed Turf Road for several hours.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
