16-Year-Old Boy Injured in Pedestrian Crash on 42nd Street in Odessa

16-Year-Old Boy Injured in Odessa Pedestrian Accident on East 42nd Street near Grandview

Odessa, Texas (November 9, 2022) – A teenager was injured Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Odessa, according to the police.

The accident happened on November 8, in the 2100 block of East 42nd Street, just west of Grandview.

Police said the 16-year-old boy was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an SUV.

The boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
