Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Woodway in Uptown Houston

Motorcyclist Killed in Uptown Houston Crash on Woodway

Uptown Houston, Texas (October 21, 2023) – A motorcyclist died following a traffic collision in Uptown Houston Friday night, according to police.

The deadly crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. Friday, October 20, in the 5700 block of Woodway.

A white van possibly hit the motorcycle, which veered off the road and crashed into a telephone pole.

First responders arrived at the location and found an adult male lying next to the motorcycle and pole.

Sadly, the motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

No further details about the accident were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
