1 Dead, Several Hurt in Chain Reaction Crash on Central Expressway in Dallas

One Killed and Several Injured in Dallas 8-Vehicle Crash on Central Expressway
Dallas, Texas (March 11, 2019) – One person was killed in an eight-vehicle crash that left several other people injured Sunday night in Dallas, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. March 10, in the southbound lanes of Central Expressway, near East Mockingbird Lane.
As per the article, eight vehicles were involved in the crash. The impact caused the vehicles to spin out of control, slamming into retaining walls and into each other.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was ejected following the crash. The victim, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Baylor Hospital where they later died. The driver of that car was taken to the hospital and was later arrested on suspicion of DWI.
The other injured people were attended by the paramedics.
Central Expressway was closed for several hours following the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
