Construction Worker Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Almeda Road near West Riley Road

Harris County, Texas (March 4, 2021) – A worker was fatally hit by a construction vehicle on Wednesday in south Harris County, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened on March 3, in the 14800 block of Almeda Road near West Riley Road.

Deputies said the worker was working at a construction site when a front-end loader backed over them.

The victim was killed in the accident. The victim’s identity has not been released.

No other details regarding the accident were provided.

The deputies are investigating the crash.
