1 Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 31 in Tyler

One Hospitalized after Tyler Crash on Highway 31 near Loop 323

Tyler, Texas (May 21, 2022) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision in Tyler on Saturday morning, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred shortly after 4:00 a.m. on Highway 31, just outside of Loop 323.

As per the report, two vehicles collided on the highway under unclear circumstances. After the crash, one of the vehicles involved overturned into a ditch, ejecting its driver.

One patient, whose name was not disclosed, was transported to a hospital in Tyler with major injuries.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
