Police Officers Hurt in Fort Worth Car Accident on Interstate 35W

Fort Worth, Texas (May 28, 2019) – Two police officers were injured in a collision involving a suspected DUI driver on Monday night in Fort Worth.
The crash happened in the 2500 block of Interstate 35W at about 10:15 p.m. Monday, May 27.
According to the authorities, the officers were working an earlier crash when a driver slammed into the squad car.
One officer was inside the squad car while the second was standing outside.
The two officers were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The driver who struck the squad car was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
