Student Injured in Angelina County School Bus Crash on FM 706 near Porter Road
Angelina County, Texas (January 17, 2019) – A student was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a traffic crash involving a school bus in Angelina County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck occurred at around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 16 on FM 706 near Porter Road.
The DPS said a Hudson ISD school bus driven by Richard Reeves, 60, of Pollok, was stopped on FM 706 to allow a student to board when for an unknown reason it was rear-ended by a 1995 Ford pickup driven by David Snyder, 57, of Lufkin.
A student, who was on the bus, was taken to a Lufkin hospital in unknown condition.
Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
