2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at Loop 287 and Tulane Drive in Lufkin

Two People Hospitalized after Lufkin Collision at Loop 287 and Tulane Drive

Lufkin, Texas (June 18, 2022) – Two people were sent to a hospital after a car crash in Lufkin on Thursday morning, according to a local news source.

The two-car wreck happened at about 8:25 a.m. Thursday, June 16, at the intersection of Loop 287 and Tulane Drive overpass.

As per the local news report, a sedan was traveling southbound when the driver failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with an SUV at the intersection.

The driver of the sedan was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

The SUV driver was hospitalized in unknown condition.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
