1 Killed in Multi-Car Accident on Highway 285 in Brooks County

1 Killed and Several Others Injured in Brooks County Crash on Highway 285
Brooks County, Texas (May 2, 2019) – One person was killed and several others were injured Tuesday evening in a traffic accident in Brooks County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 on Highway 285.
Authorities said three tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle were involved in the wreck.
One person died in the accident. Several other people were airlifted to hospitals in Kingsville and Corpus Christi with unspecified injuries.
Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
