Jennalyn Yeager Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM 2289 in Madison County

Jennalyn Yeager ID’d as Teen Driver Killed in Madison County Crash on FM 2289and FM 978

Madison County, Texas (July 12, 2022) – Authorities have identified the teenage driver who was killed in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Madison County.

Jennalyn Yeager, 18, died in the crash that happened at about 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 11, on FM 2289and FM 978.

Yeager, a Madisonville resident, was driving a 2012 GMC Sierra southbound on FM 978 when he failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2019 Toyota Avalon that was traveling westbound on FM 978.

Yeager died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to CHI St. Joseph Health in Bryan in unknown condition.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation is underway.
