Jeremy McGee Killed in Boerne Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10

Boerne, Texas (March 23, 2022) – A 48-year-old man was killed Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Boerne, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:45 a.m., March 22, on Interstate 10 between the North Main Street and the Johns Road exits.

Police said Jeremy McGee, 48, of Kerrville, was standing outside of his truck that was stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the interstate when he was struck by a passing passenger vehicle. The truck’s headlights were on, and a right-side blinker was flashing, but the emergency flashers were not activated at the time of the crash.

The driver of the passenger vehicle remained at the scene after the accident.

McGee was killed in the crash.

The crash closed one lane of the interstate for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
