Charles Cairelli Killed in Wise County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1655 at FM 1810

Wise County, Texas (November 28, 2023) – A Muenster man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Wise County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened just before 5:00 p.m., November 24, at the intersection of FM 1655 and FM 1810.

DPS said Charles Cairelli, Jr, 54, was driving southbound on FM 1655 when he ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on FM 1810.

Cairelli was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

No other information was available.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
