Woman Killed and Two Injured in Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash on South Beltway 8

Harris County, Texas (March 15, 2021) – A woman was killed, and two other people were injured on Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in SW Harris County, according to deputies.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 a.m., March 14, on Beltway 8 South near Hillcroft.

Deputies said the woman was driving a black Jeep Patriot at a high rate of speed when she rear-ended a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The force of the impact caused the Jeep to roll over several times, ejecting the woman.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

A passenger in the Jeep had to be extricated and was taken to a local hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The Dodge driver was taken to Memorial Hermann with minor injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim or the family of a deceased victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws, or statutes which were violated.
