One Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at 5th Street and Nassau Avenue in Plainview

Woman Seriously Injured, Airlifted After Plainview Two-Vehicle Crash at 5th Street and Nassau Avenue

Plainview, Texas (March 9, 2020) – A woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon in Plainview, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. March 8, in the area of 5th Street and Nassau Avenue.

Police said a vehicle was exiting a private drive at 1505 W. 5th Street when it failed to yield the right of way and was struck another vehicle that was heading eastbound in the 1500 block of W. 5th Street.

The driver of the second vehicle, a woman, was taken to the Covenant emergency with incapacitating injuries and then airlifted to Lubbock for further treatment. As of Monday, she was listed in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
