Joseph A. Davis Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1379 and County Road 160

Midland County, Texas (January 20, 2020) – One person was killed, and four others were injured on Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in Midland County, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened on Thursday, January 16, at the intersection of FM 1379 and County Road 160.

According to a preliminary investigation, Joseph A. Davis, 55, of Cutler Bay, Florida, was driving an 18-wheeler westbound on CR 160 while a Dodge Ram 2500 that was towing a trailer was heading southbound on FM 1379.

Davis failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the Ram.

Davis was killed in the crash.

Four people in the Ram were injured in the crash. The victims were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
