Jason Allen Wyant and Lawrence Schroeder ID’d as Two Men Killed in San Patricio County Car Accident on State Highway 359 near Tynan
San Patricio County, Texas (May 4, 2019) – The two men who were killed Thursday morning in a head-on crash in San Patricio County have been identified as Jason Allen Wyant, 37, of Beeville, and Lawrence Schroeder, 53, of Corpus Christ, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly accident happened at around 10:45 a.m. Thursday, May 2 on State Highway 359 near Tynan.
The DPS said a 2012 Dodge Durango driven by Wyant, was heading eastbound on State Highway 359 when for an unknown reason it drifted into the westbound lane and hit the left rear portion of a 2015 Ford Explorer that was traveling westbound on State Highway 359.
The Dodge then collided head-on with a 2015 Chevy Silverado that was also heading westbound on State Highway 359.
Wyant and the driver of the Silverado, Schroeder, were declared dead at the scene.
No one else was injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the DPS.
