4 Killed in Bastrop County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 21 near Quarter Horse Loop

Bastrop County, Texas (July 15, 2019) – Four people were killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Bastrop County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash occurred at about 9:00 p.m. July 12, on State Highway 21, near Quarter Horse Loop.

Authorities said two vehicles collided for unknown reasons on the highway.

Four people were declared dead at the scene.

Both directions of the highway were closed following the crash.

Traffic was diverted onto FM 1441.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
