Daniel Garcia Killed in Rear-End Crash in Tyler

8-Year-Old Daniel Garcia Killed in Tyler Two-Vehicle Crash

Tyler, Texas (May 8, 2020) – An 8-year-old boy was killed last month in a rear-end collision in Tyler, a local news source reported.

The crash happened on April 22. The exact location of the crash was not mentioned in the report.

According to the report, Daniel Garcia, 8, and his mother Urania Garcia were on their way home and were stopped at a red light when they were rear-ended by another vehicle. The impact pushed Urania’s car across the street into the parking lot of a Taco Bell.

Daniel was airlifted to the Children’s Hospital in Dallas, where he died several days later. 

A GoFundMe account has been created to help Daniel’s family.

The Tyler police are investigating the crash.
