Police Officer Injured in San Antonio Car Crash near I-10 and Loop 410

San Antonio, Texas (March 8, 2021) – According to police, an SAPD officer was injured early Sunday morning in a traffic accident in San Antonio.

The crash happened on March 7, near the I-10 and Loop 410 flyover.

Police said the officer had responded to a rollover crash and was helping to block off several lanes of traffic while crews were investigating the crash. A small sedan then hit the officer’s cruiser. It was unclear if the officer was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The officer sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
