Toni Jo Brown Killed in Tarkington Three-Vehicle Crash on SH 321 near FM 1008

Tarkington, Texas (August 26, 2020) – A woman was killed in a head-on collision Tuesday morning in the Tarkington area, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on August 25, on SH 321, just north of FM 1008.

DPS said Toni Jo Brown, 29, of Dayton, was driving a 2005 Nissan Altima northbound on the highway when she drove into the southbound side and hit a Ford F-250 driven by Martin Rueda, 47, of Cleburne.

The Altima then collided head-on with a 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Joshua Robinson, 29, of Coldspring.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

Robinson was taken to HCA Houston ER 24/7 in Cleveland with minor injuries.

Rueda was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
